A Theory of Change is a conceptual model that explains how you expect a system to respond to an effort to change it—in our case, to make the food system fairer and sustainable.
We understand that improving our food system requires fundamental changes to the way we (the people) govern what food is produced and how. We know that these changes cannot come from consumer choices alone—because we are not given fair alternatives and because the information we need is hidden.
Our Theory of Change relies on a suite of modifications at all levels, but, most importantly, it revolves around making people aware of the ways in which the agri-food industry has corrupted the system and blames consumers.
We are actively working towards the first step by raising awareness about food imperialism, and provide recommendations for people and organisations to act across the other steps.
